Tia Amburn | We are a small Commercial Flooring Co. in Austin, TX and I, as Controller, need to be able to sign lien waivers & Pay Applications as the Owner is often out of the office. One of our GC's asked for a Signatory Letter allowing me the authority to sign on behalf of the Corporation. Does anyone have an example of this kind of letter? I've searched on Google, but nothing seems to address this particular situation. |

Melvin Burges | Tia, all you need is a letter on company letterhead signed by an officer of the company stating that you have authority to sign certain documents on behalf of the company. There is no standard form letter, i.e. I, OFFICER OF THE COMPANY, authorize Tia Amburn to sign Lien Waivers and Pay Applications on behalf of the company. Sincerely, OFFICER OF THE COMPANY |
