Last Frontier Chapter of
CFMA Board Members Recognized for Certifications
"The board of trustees of the
Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals of
Princeton, N.J., has awarded Ron Jones, doing business
in Anchorage as Ron Jones Enterprises, the Certified Construction
Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) certification. Jones joins more
than 600 CCIFPs across the United States and is the only certificate
holder in Alaska. CCIFP certificate holders have demonstrated their
commitment to excellence and mastery of the knowledge required of
today's construction financial professional."

Enterprises, has become the first Alaskan awarded the certified
construction industry financial professional certification, from the
board of trustees of the Institute of Certified Construction Industry
Financial Professionals. Jones plans to use his certificate to assist
construction companies in cash management, financial analysis, claim and
rate development, and support in legal actions. He is also a certified
public accountant providing business consulting in project and
initiative management, strategic planning, software evaluation and
conversion, and financial analysis for oil field and governmental
service contractors."

"Christopher S. Pobieglo,
a senior account executive with Business Insurance Associates Inc., has
achieved the construction risk insurance specialist designation from the
International Risk Management Institute, after successfully completing
five courses focused on construction risk and contractors insurance, and
passing all of the exams. Pobieglo is the third broker at Business
Insurance Associates to receive the certification and the eighth broker
in Alaska."
